Bursting Myths Around Parenting an Outlier: How to parent your neurodivergent child with Confidence
Successful immigrant parents who come to this country with big dreams are shocked and at a loss when one or more of their children are different from their neurotypical peers. Seeing less than-perfect grades, school struggles, and social challenges for their child is heartbreaking and discouraging. They feel that they are terrible parents who have not done their job or failed as a parent. In this program, Marie, acknowledges the feelings of being inadequate as a parent and reveals that the problem is not with the parent or the child.
